Kirti Vardhan Singh Triumphs: Conquers Mount Kang Yatse-2 on Independence Day

Invisible NGO A team of 12 mountaineers under No Drugs Caimpaign set an example of patriotism and fortitude by successfully summiting Mt. Kang Yatse-2 (6,250 m) on the morning of August 15 to celebrate our 78th Independence Day.

On August 8, each team member was reported to Leh city. After braving the changing weather for 2 days, the ascent to the peak began on the 10th with the final ascent on the early morning of Independence Day. A team of experienced mountaineers from across the country braved the harsh environment and inaccessible terrain.But remained steadfast in his goal. Their success came after an early morning on the summit, where the team proudly waved the Indian tricolor and saluted the country. “This climb is not just about reaching the summit, it is about celebrating the spirit of freedom and resilience that characterizes our country.” The team said, “It was a proud moment for us to see the tricolor fluttering against the backdrop of the Himalayas at the summit of Mount Kang Yatse-II. This achievement is dedicated to the spirit of India and inspires everyone.”

As part of the preparation for the climb, the mountaineers underwent 2 months of continuous 5 to 10 km daily running, physical exercises, pranayama training. Then 12 people were selected on the basis of physical test. The entire training was provided by Invincible NGO. Which is India’s largest trekking & adventure organization. They are constantly doing a great job of spreading awareness to prevent drugs from reaching the youth in order to eradicate the ill effects of drugs.

Well, these young men dedicated the final ascent of Sikhar with their patience, adventure, stability, experience, teamwork and tenacity and finally reached the summit. The young team that joined this indomitable venture consisted of Kirti Vardhan Singh, Jasmin Patel, Karan Chavda, Saurabh Yadav, Harsh Thakkar, Vipul Yadav, Ashish Mankar, Mehul darji , Gaurav Rathod while Jay Patel, Avnish Gajjar and Deep Keriwala advanced base camp. (6,000 m) were reached. Thus, today entire Uttar Pradesh is taking pride in the unique initiative and achievement of these youth.
